Oil change for a Mercedes ML 320. Where is the drain plug and the oil filter? Thanks.

Where is the oil plug and the oil filter on a 2003 Mercedes ML320?

Of course the plug is concealed under the underbody panels. But the filter is right up on top. Should have the look of an inverted filter and has a plastic cover. Careful during reassembly, as any leak from this location is likely to cause a fire. It is probably best to leave the changes to the dealer, because the sensor needs to be reset so it alerts you when it is needed again.
