Edmunds Visitor	Oil leak. All seals leak on 2007 Hyundai Sonata. My daughter bought a 2007 Hyundai Sonata with 90,000 miles last January. She has put 17,000 miles on it since. Apparently most of the oil seals on the car leak and need repaired including the front seal requiring the motor to be pulled. That leak caused the alternator to fail. This seems unusual in a modern car with this mileage.

You're right, it is unusual. How much oil does she use (in miles/quart)? Has she gotten a second opinion?
