    Disconnecting the horns will stop the current draw from the battery. This problem is usually caused by an inexpensive part called the horn relay; which can go bad from age, or from poor manufacturing design or tolerances; this can cause it to activate from moist or cold environments. I would recommend buying an AC DELCO # D1786C horn relay from an auto parts store which carries that brand; as that particular part number is a better quality part than most others (and probably is better than the original part).

    However; if the horn was beeping rhythmically, rather than blowing steadily; the problem is in the vehicle's security system.
