Ordered new car 6/18 told deliverly would take 6 weeks. Three weeks ago was given VIN. Today given new # and told delivery 8/28. Sold my car.

Ordered new car on 6/18 told it would be here in 6 weeks. At 3 weeks given a vin#. Today given new vin# with delivery of 8/28. Could they have sold the car I ordered and how do I prove?

Contact the regional customer service center for the brand of vehicle you ordered, and ask them to trace what happened to the first VIN number.
