Most extended warranty policies have a cancellation clause that can be anywhere from a day to a few weeks,
Check with your policy if you can still cancel it.
Keep in mind that although Edmunds suggests that the warranty is not needed, it all depends on the age of the vehicle you bought, how much you expect to drive it, and whether you have money put aside to for repairs should something go wrong.
You have to decide for yourself whether you think you'll feel more at ease with the warranty or whether you're ok without it. Because if something does go wrong, Edmunds isn't going to be the one paying for your repair, it will be out of your own pocket.
