Radio for Honda Accord LX 2003. (Honda Accord Audio)

gottabelovely	Radio for Honda Accord LX 2003. This site really helped me on the problem with my radio. Like everyone else I changed my battery and my radio went out. I turned it off the first time and turn it back on. Then it came back on. It did that like 2 more times and it went out for good. Now, It comes on I can see the time and station and everything but cant hear anything coming out of the speakers. I check for the code in my glove box but it was not there. I called Honda relation department and they said if the radio did not ask for a code then it was not a code problem and I would have to take it to the dealership! I can not afford to do that. I also tired to take the back up fuse out for a min to reset the radio so it can ask for the code but that did not work! I really do not think its my speakers they all wouldn't go out at the same time...would they? Can someone please help me!

Did you try the trick in Fezo's Honda Radio Codes Guide about running the radio for an hour to remove the block?

No i read that but i have to find some where to go for an hour. I also saw where they said to unplug the negative side of the battery for a minute if you can not run the radio for an hour. I will try the battery test first. If that dont work I would try the hour ride with the radio....

My guess is that just turning the ignition on and the radio on for an hour too would work too without actually driving around. But maybe not.
