Radio is no longer functioning.
My battery died and I replaced it, but my radio is no longer functioning and am in need of the code. The series # is f00629554. and the ref no. mf92840 Please help.

Sometimes the codes are on a sticker on the radio itself and sometimes the code is on a label in the glovebox (usually it's on a card in the owner's manual).You didn't say what make/model car it is, but some manufacturers (like Honda USA) will tell you the code if you contact them with ownership information. Most dealers (including individual Honda dealers) will charge you for pulling the code.

I had the same problem when I changed out the battery on my 2000 Volvo Xctry 143000 miles. I called the original Volvo dealer in Denver and got the code. That didn't work so I went to Corley's Volvo in Albuq.and got the same code#.I took the radio out and found the sticker,it had been repaired in '02. He called Volvo and got me the code,it didn't cost me nothing but my time.Don't know what kind of veh. you have. I went to auto store and bought a plug-in to save my settings. It plug into the cigarette lighter.
