Received quote from dealer that they say is 2% over invoice but it doesn't match Edmunds invoice. Not truthful or another reason?

Internet sales manager gave me an invoice price that doesn't match what edmunds says invoice is. Why is that?

Invoice prices on Edmunds always match the price listed in a booklet prepared by the vehicle manufacturer and distributed to its dealers commonly known as the "dealer order guide"; however, an individual dealer may add additional items such as advertising fees.

Please note that when comparing invoice prices it's important to ensure that the vehicles' styles and options are an exact match.
.

Also, regional pricing differences can be the cause of the discrepancy.
