Red light on 4WD switch comes on at startup after I disconnected battery. Instrument panel lights also out. GMC Yukon XL.
2003 Yukon XL with 115K. 4WD switch replaced 15K ago and all fuses are good. Drive system seems to actually work fine. I will try and get a Tech2 code reader but don't trust dealers. My OBDll codes don't indicate anything. Am I needing to reprogram TCCM?

THE 4X4 MODULE WONT SPIT OUT CODES UNLESS YOU ACCESS THE MODULE ITSELF,A REGULAR OBD2 HAND HELD READER IS NOT CAPABLE OF DOING THIS,YOU MIGHT 1/2 TO TAKE IT SOMEWHERE THAT IS CAPABLE,THE TRANS CONTROL MODULE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH 4X4
