Repai or replace automatic transmission in a1992 3.3 Dodge Dynasty? Goes forward a few feet, no reverse. Oil level good. Any help please?

The car will go in forward gear when cold as so as you move it about a 100 feet it will just sit there and rev, doesn't go in reverse.I just bought the car and don't have much history on it yet.The trans oil level is good, doesn't smell burnt or discolored. That is all I can think of for now.
