Replaced the BCM on a 2001 Pontiac Aztek. After flashing the module the battery drains overnight. What is the solution?

The electrical symptoms on the Pontiac Aztek were very intermittent over a 5 year period. This year they became bad enouth to warrant replacing the BCM. All the electrical symptoms disappeared after the module was replaced. Now the battery drains overnight which did not happen with the old module.
