    Looks like the recall is only for 2010 Wranglers with 4WD and automatic transmissions.

    I really don't see how it is in your power to force an automaker to extend their warranty. I would probably just let this go if I were you.

    You said that the insurance paid you 'wholesale" value---this is not what is supposed to happen. You are supposed to get full Fair Market Retail. If you didn't get that, I'd devote energy to fighting the insurance company, not the automaker.

    If you don't like your settlement, you have a right to hire your own appraiser and submit an upgraded appraisal (presuming the appraiser finds a greater value), and if the insurance company won't agree to that, you have the right to an arbitration hearing.
