Too fast idle on cold start?
When I first start in the morning and the engine is cold it revs up to 2700rpm..Much too fast on a cold dry engine,dealer says thats normal.. Can this be lowered ?

It sounds like the Fast Idle Thermo Valve may be too far open. Mine goes to about 1900 then comes down from there pretty quickly as it warms up. does it idle fast when its warm? if so you can lower the idle speed, this is done a number of different ways on different models. i dont know if the FITV is adjustable.
