Torn leather

How do I repair damage to my Acura TL's leather seats? Last weekend I was doing some work on the cabinets in my office. Part way through I decided to scoot over to Starbucks for a coffee break. When I stepped out of the car, I suddenly realized that I had left a screwdriver in my back pocket that somehow managed to put a broad gash in my car's leather seat. I cannot afford to have the leather replaced at this time. Can you tell me how to repair the damage?

Duct tape. =(

Unfortunately, you're in a bit of trouble there. If you wanted, you could just sew it up. It won't look great, but it would do the trick.

Good luck!
