    No, the front wheels have to be on a dolly or trailer.

    The 2008 Honda CRV is towable with four wheels down, with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive or front wheel drive. Honda advises a 65 mph speed limit, and the trnsmission fluid must be circulated via a simple procedure outlined in the owner's manual after each 8 hour towing period.

    The 2008 RAV4 is not towable in any configuration. There was a time when Toyota approved dinghy towing if the car or truck had a manual transmission, but they have since rescinded that policy. And I think the new RAV4 V6 can't be equipped with a manual anyway, so that point is moot.

    Follow the link below to the 2008 dinghy towing car. If a car does not appear on this list, the manufacturer does not approve it for four-down flat towing.
