Might be a defective ABS module, or maybe just a bad wheel sensor.

At any rate, don't take your mechanical advice from a tow truck driver. They are great at what they do, but they are not hybrid technicians.

And besides, statistically speaking, the Prius has been one of the most reliable cars ever made in automotive history.

Once the dealer pulls some codes, let us know what they found.

Today they said the computer is shot and I need a new one for $2000. They have no explanation as to why or how this happened. Also, can give me no info about other people's problems with the PS light, red triangle and brake pumping up and down in park. I think it is outrageous that the computer should just stop at 69K miles. Any one have this happen?
