    The transmission control module interfaces between the main computer and the transmission to, among other things, control the shift points. This is external to the transmission and often fails due to a bad elecrtical connection or overheating. If i were you, I would go to the local auto parts store like Auto Zone or Advanced Autp Parts and get a free OBD II scan to see if you get any TCM trouble codes. Once you have some codes, come back here and we can try and help you. Good luck!

    Your Transmission Control Module is probably faulty. Scanning is not likely to give you related error codes but you can get another one with the same part number as yours and replace it. The TCM is found in a black box under the carpet at the front passenger's side. I hope this helps...
