Like with any lease agreement, you need to review the contract carefully and see if it allows for this fee. If you signed the contract with that fee, then unfortunately it is collectible. Usually, turn in fees are only charged when you try to turn the car in earlier than when contracted. However, some lease contracts also provide for a standard termination (vehicle return) fee at the end of the lease which supposedly covers the costs of inspection of the vehicle and other associated costs. If you are buying or leasing a new Jeep, it is possible to negotiate this fee away. Good luck!
