Want to convert 1966 Chevy truck to an automatic. Is there an easy conversion to a certain transmission?

Just trying to find best and easy conversion to automatic.

Already answered.

Maybe someone else who missed it the first time will pop in here, but you don't exactly have a common problem. Maybe try a local antique or classic car club.

You may want to check LMC Truck, I'm pretty sure they have kits for this conversion.

It's pretty straight forward. You'll probably have to go with a floor shifter.
I have a 65 with the floor shift automatic. If I had my preferance, I would go with an aftermarket column shifter. It is cleaner and more user friendly.
