What are some of the reputable extended warranty companies available on the web?

My original extended warranty coverage is about to run out (60k) and I'm looking for additional coverage. I've looked at three thus far: AAauto warranty, Warranty Direct and Auto Warranty Broker but am looking for input. Any help would be appreciated.

The trustworthy warranties are those from the manufacturers themselves. Check with the website for the car brand and see if there is an extended warranty beyond the original that can be purchased. It usually has to be done before the original expires.

Search the web for dealers of that brand who discount the warranty for purchase.

The aftermarket warranties are more like insurance policies and have lots of stipulations and escapes for the company not to pay. The companies often disappear after collecting lots of payments from customers. The exceptions in the policies allow them to interpret them so as not to pay for many things you might have thought it includes.

Find the discussion group for the car brand here on Edmunds and ask the question. Someone there may be able to help you find the warranty from the manufacturer.

I can't help you with a reputalble extended warranty company,but I must "WARN' all of one that is a total SCAM. NATIONAL DEALERS WARRANTY aka WARRANTY FINANCE.
