    That's kind of a dual purpose light. It signifies low oil pressure (below 5 psi) so you sure want THAT looked it---also on carburated motors there was a choke heater with a relay in the circuit, and if that sticks the oil/choke light will also go on.

    So you need to do some digging here and figure out what's what.
