What is evap system? It has something to do with gas sensors and canister on 2001 Hyundai Elantra.
2001 elantra, suppose to deal with gas sensors and canister in the front of car.

Sounds like you mean Evap system. Its designed to help elininate fuel vapors from escaping (emmisions thing). Closed system that ensures vapors in fuel tank one way or another don't escape (they get burned via the stuff up front). Also the cause of many SES or CE lights when fual cap is loose/misaligned/ bad sealing..

thanks for correcting me, since its called an EVAP system, do you know the cost of this work and what its details.

Ni, I have no idea at all on what particualr part may be failing or cost. I only have experiance with GM vehicles and most times its the fuel cap that cause troubles, your Elantra may be quite different. Sorry
