Knowledgepower must be thinking about a different car than the 2012 Corolla. The L has 15" steel wheels standard with a 5 speed manual. A 4-speed automatic is optional. It comes with power windows etc. The main difference betwee the L and the LE is that the LE comes with the 4-speed auto as standard equipment, plus 16" alloys, heated mirrors, cruise, variable wipers, Bluetooth and steering wheel audio controls. Is that worth an extra $1800?
You can read the description under the "new cars" and compare features to other brands, which today get better fuel economy, performance, and likely value than the Corolla. The Mazda 3 is better than the Corolla in every way.
