You can check with edmunds' comparing tool, since one of the things they compare is safety ratings.

unless you have more specific criteria, it's hard to say since there are plenty of very safe sedans.

The one that stops you from getting in an accident in the first place.

With that being said, there are many sedans available these days with great safety ratings. Check Nhsta.coma and see what some of their ratings are and then consult Consumer Reports. They typically have some great information available.
