I doubt you have vapor lock, not common at all in modern day vehicles

I would get a check on your Fuel Pressure using a Fuel pressure gauge..i would bet more on a failing Fuel Pump than vapor lock.
Or maybe even an electical failure like a faulty Ignition control module or Distributor stator

I agree with Doc J. What you may have is multiple problems.

Dying when idling can be the result of several things, chief among them being problems with the idle air control system, vacuum leaks and incorrect timing. Fuel could be an issue too but usually you will have driveability problems as well since it takes more fuel to drive than to idle.

Failing to restart when hot is likely a totally different problem. Often I find this is due to the starter getting too hot. On old cars and trucks you would have a heat shield for the starter.

i dont think that would be your problem never seen it before on that model i would be looking into the TFI module on the side of the distributor good chance thats your problem. After it stalls next time spray some cold water on the module and see if it starts back up again. Have you checked for spark when this problem occurs?
