What to do when my key fob will not unlock my VW Passat wagon?

when i press the unlock button on the fob it will not unlock the car

In Makes & Models > Volkswagen > Passat
In Car Accessories > Security System

Does it unlock normally with the key? If not, it is probably that the lock actuator on that door needs replacement. If it does, you have to reprogram your fob. Instructions for this are in your owner's manual. Good luck!
