    Depends on the state. You should check with your DMV to find out for sure.

    For example, from a net search, a dealer can put 1500 miles on a car in Colorado and still sell it as "new".

    Looks like it's 7,500 miles (!) in Utah.

    And it looks like 6,000 miles is the limit in Ohio.
