Stalling at low speeds or when coming to a stop are usually signs of a carbon build up in the throttle body and the idle air control valve. The remedy is to remove the IAC valve and clean it with throttle body spray cleaner then use the remainder of the can to clean the inside of the throttle body through the opening of the IAC valve which bolts on to the throttle body. It can easily be done by you or you can have a mechanic perform the service for under $100. I would also have the EGR valve cleaned the same way and replace the PCV valve as part of regular maintenance. Good luck!
