What would make your D.3.2.l gears not work?

my transmisson will not go in d,3 2 1 it will go in r

You didn't mention the year,make,model,mileage of the vehicle..but ..
If there are no forward gears,there is an internal problem in the transmission.

If you could give us a little info on the vehicle such as what recent repairs have been done to it; what symptoms occured prior to this happening (i.e. hard shifting, grinding etc..) it would help out.
A lot of things could be going on here: electronics (connections), fluid, torque convertor, linkage, vacuum hoses not connected etc... let me know the prior symptoms and history and I'll try to help you out.
