Quite likely a dead battery. You might have luck getting a jumpstart, but if the battery is sufficiently dead then sometimes a donor vehicle won't be able to get it going.
If you can remove the battery, which is a very simple operation, take it to any large auto parts store and they can test it for you. If it is bad replace it. If not, the problem is probably the starter or starter relay.
