When will the Smart forTwo be out?

When will the Smart forTwo car be out? I'm seeing quite a bit about it in the press but I don't know where to find out about dealers. Does anyone know when it will be out and how to get one?

According to the smart fortwo Web site, as of December 12, 2007, the smart fortwo was scheduled to be available in the first quarter of 2008.

A smart USA dealer network is being established and the exact locations of the smart dealerships are expected to be announced by the end of January 2008.
