    There is one mark on the timing belt plastic cover and it's a scale from 0 to 15, another mark is on the engine body behind the camshaft pulley. The hole in the camshaft pulley must align with the mark on the engine body and zero on the timing belt plastic cover. I strongly suggest you spend 20 bucks and buy a Haynes manual for a step by step repair description. It will pay for itself if you intend to do these repairs yourself.
