    Thanks for the graphic. I've had the glove box out, the side kick panel out, computer is on the floor; Autozone and dealership said it was behind the instrument cluster or below the dash, next to the console. Any more ideas? Speedometer works for a while, then quits; jumps around, transmission seems to be fine, then the light flashes, then goes into eradic shifts. Once in a while, the check engine light comes on: very eradic. Could it be main shaft speed sensor? Thanks.

    That is a logical guess actually. Regarding location, that's where my database shows the OBD-1 to be.
