Where are the spark plugs on my 2000 Navigator. Are they located under the cover in the middle of the valve cover?

This is a 2000 Lincoln Navigator, with the 5.4 32 valve motor.

Exactly. They are 4 in each valve cover. When you remove the plate, you'll see that each coil is held down by a small bolt, about 7mm I think. You undo that, remove the coil and the spark plug is underneath. That requires a 5/8" spark plug socket that has an insulated liner to protect the plug from breaking when you remove it.
