    It does sound like a fuel delivery problem. I assume you changed the fuel filter when you did the new fuel pump right? If so, have the fuel pressure regulator checked as it may be malfunctioning and not maintaining propper fuel rail pressure. It is easy to check and inexpensive to replace.
