Why does my clutch chatter and jerk?
Had engine replaced now clutch is jerky.

Could be a number of things:1. Dirt, oil or grease on clutch disk2. Grooved flywheel3. broken or loose motor mount or transmission mount

I would add badly worn clutch springs and possible linkage problem to Shifty's list.
