    Cadillac has issued 6 different TSBs (Technical Service Bulletins) for your vehicle; which all potentially relate to this problem (even though some of them may not appear to be directly relevant). The dealership should implement these procedures if you give them the identifying numbers listed below:

    # 040849029-May 2006; NHTSA # 10020819; Instrument panel/cluster inoperative or erratic.

    # 03005-March 2003; NHTSA # 10001238; Engine misfire due to loss of signal from PCM to coils. Emission Recall.

    # 031403-March 2003; NHTSA # 10001915; Engine misfire due to loss of signal from PCM to coils.

    # 030603009-October 2003; NHTSA # 10004770; Intermittent no electrical power condition that leads to no crank/no start when ignition switch is turned to start.

    # 062303-June 2003; NHTSA # 10003714; Intermittent no electrical power condition that leads to no crank/no start when ignition switch is turned to start.

    # 09182002-Sept 2002; NHTSA # 10009468; Poor grounds at either end of ground strap from frame to alternator may be cause of no crank/no start condition.
