    You need to bleed the brakes as you probably have some air in the system. Start with the farthest wheel from the master cylinder, usually the rear right hand wheel and bleed each wheel until it runs clear of air. Top off the master cylinder reservoir with a new bottle of the correct DOT brake fluid when you are done. DO NOT use old brake fluid as it absorbs moisture once open. Good luck!
