Will the 2010 model Nissan Versa sedan and Sentra models feature Electronic Stability Control as an option?

Nissan's Versa sedan and Sentra vehicles are nice, but I believe they would be even nicer if Electronic Stabilty Control was offered, at least as an option with top of the line models, for 2010. Will Nissan do so? Anyone in the know?

Stability Control is mandated to be installed in all new cars sold in the US beginning in 2012. Many automakers have already included the tech in all their cars.

I don't know why Nissan is dragging their feet on making it available - the Cube is built on the same platform as the Versa and Sentra and it has ESC as standard equipment. Must be a money issue.

More news just came down the Pike.

The 2010 Versa will have ABS and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) standard on the 1.8 SL model and it will be an available option for the 1.8 S model.

The 2010 Sentra offers VDC and Traction Control System (TCS) standard on the 2.0 SL, SE-R and SE-R Spec V styles. VDC will be available as a package on the 2.0 S and 2.0 SR styles, plus there's an ABS/TCS package for the 2.0 models. Three new colors too. :-)

I think I'll just copy part of the memo here since it gets a bit confusing trying to figure out which style gets what. Sorry for the poor formatting.
