According to what I've seen the Safe and Secure plan is still free on 2013 vehicles but right now they're pushing lease specials that expire on January 2, 2013. Sometimes this is a ploy salespeople use to get you to purchase now. December auto sales are normally low because consumers buy other things because of the season. I'd check another dealer in another part of your state and speak to a Service Writer in the Service Department of another dealer, they normally have first hand info from the Service Department Manager.
