Will dealerships still offer 72 months financing? Want to buy a Hyundai Santa Fe.

Wanna buy a 2009 Santa Fe Hyundai for 72 mths financing for a lower monthly payment.

It depends on your credit history. But that is a very long loan and you will end up paying a lot of interest by the time this loan is paid off. Unlike mortgage interest - which is deductible, car loan interest is money down the drain.

Whatever you do, make sure there is no prepayment penalty.

On your own, have you tried credit unions (who'll deduct the payment out of your account with them automatically) or other banks in your town to see if 6 year loans are available?

A 2009 vehicle should be doable on the loan depending on the odometer reading. If under 15,000 miles, can be done, but if over 45,000?

It also will depend on the size of your down payment. A zero down payment loan will not help.
