Window sticker on a Ford Escape Limited shows a regional V6 discount of $500. Dealer says it's shown in invoice. True?
The window sticker in an Escape Limited gives a $500 "Escape Regional V6 discount." The dealership, which is in Tucson, AZ ,says that this discount is already included in their invoice and that I should not subtract this discount from my Edmunds quote. I don't think this is correct. The "Moon and Tune discount" was separate from the invoice. What can you tell me about this?

The V6 discount doesn't show up on Edmunds Invoice pricing but the Moon and Tune one does. So I think your case is stronger. It gets confusing when you try to break out all this stuff, so you may want to think about just focusing on the Out the Door price. That would be True Market Value (TMV) or less, which you can get to from my Invoice link above. TMV will be customized for your region.Focusing on the bottom line helps avoid haggling over the line items. See Out The Door (OTD) Pricing questions for real world stories.
