Would it be a good buy to purchase a 2004 Dodge Stratus SE?

it used to be a rental car and has 215000 miles

In Makes & Models > Dodge > Stratus
In Maintenance & Repair > Transmission > Automatic
In Car Insurance > Buying Insurance

It depends if it's a car that will s uit your needs, and what the price of it is.

Plan to put money aside for future repairs on any car with those miles.

With 215,000 miles on a rental auto, it should be really inexpensive to purchase. I say this because as the expression goes no 2 drivers drive the same way. Can you imangine how many drivers where behind the wheel of this vehicle in it's lifetime? It's a wonder it made it to this point. If your getting it real cheap, then consider the buy, but also be prepared to put money into it as time goes by. It just stands to reason.
