Does a 2005 Chevy Equinox 3.4 ltr engine have any issues with blowing head gaskets? Vehicle has 65k miles, well kept.

Car is AWD with 65k miles and has been kept up maintenance wise. It has coolant in the no. 1 cylinder. Has this been an issue for these vehicles or is mine the only one?

Usually the lower intake manifold gaskets leak coolant on the 3.4 V-6 engines. But in some instances the head gasket will blow, or you have a cracked head. You need to pull the head & inspect the area between the valves for small cracks. These engines are known for leaking coolant. I've replaced hundreds of lower intake gaskets on these motors.
