    If the problem was solved, then the light would go out.

    To clear the codes, you need a scanner.

    Trouble codes no not say to replace sensors. They say to check that circuit. If you just replaced the sensor, then you probably wasted your money. We need to know what the trouble code number is.

    It will be one of two things. Some codes require 6 to 10 successful restarts of the system before the light will go off, such as a fuel cap being loose. Others need to be cleared, which most auto parts stores will do for free (autozone, advance... etc).
