My 07 Honda CR-V transmission went out today with only 25,000 miles.

So I am wandering if this has happened to anyone else, I have had a honda for 10 years, mostly civics and never experienced these problems. I am pretty upset about this, thought hondas were reliable? So the only problem recently with the car was an annoying high pitched noise during acceleration which was intermittent. Just wandering if anyone else has experienced this.

Honda continues to be one of the most reliable car manufacturers according to JD Power and Consumer Reports. However, any car maker is going to have the occasional defect. As long as you are happy with your dealer and the CRV is repaired under warranty, I would not worry.
