does anyone know if a nav system from a 2003-04 navigator will fit a 2003 aviator with a 6 cd changer. My dealer says that they are different part numbers so therefore they are not interchangeable, but one local stereo shop claims that they could be not sure. I need certainty before purchasing one from ebay. thank you

the answer to the question is no. The reason being is someone removed it from their vehicle and is attempting to sell it. Now the issue is, missing parts. The ant. is mounted on top of the vehicle and is most certainly not included in the ebay auction. Therefor no nav. Now as far as sound, different sound systems are an issue as well. Lincolns are most assuredly amplified and they are all different. A navigator usually has about 10 speakers and a dozie of an amp to power them. The amp connections will probably be different even if the factory harness matches. Sorry but aftermarket nav systems are usually cheaper anyways. might look at one of those.
