How many times a week is it driven?

I would wonder about the same thing. There can be quite a few things in many vehilces today that remain 'active' even when car is shutoff and could cause battery to drain . If it's many days in between trips perhaps combined with only a short drive it may be difficult to maintain good charge.

I think the dealer could be right.
